What do lessons cost?
Lessons are $30 per half hour lesson, and $15 for a 15 minute lesson. We also provide a 10 lesson plan for $270, where the customer pays the total for 9 lessons, and also has a 15% discount on rentals.
How long are lessons?
We offer both half hour and 15 minute lessons.
Do these lessons really prepare them for band?
Yes, we teach how to read the musical staff, proper lip embouchure and posture, along with general music knowledge.
What instruments do you teach?
I can teach beginners most brass instruments, but I specialize with the trumpet, french horn, and trombone.
Can we use our own instruments?
Yes, but if this is not an option, we do rent out Nuvo's "JHorns".
How do you plan a lesson?
Each lesson is designed to build off of the last lesson with the end goal of preparing the student for their school's band program.
Where are you located?
We are located in Conover Square, through a door on Fraklin St.
Where do you take students from?
All students are welcome, as long as they're willing to learn!
How are you qualified to teach?
I have spent 7 years in Oregon School District's band program, and have mastered multiple brass instruments.
